To research and create a brand proposition, brand narrative, new visual identity, website, and digital prospectus to promote inward investment for Stroud District, showcasing what the district has to offer.
What we did
Research was a key factor in this project – we really had to get a taste of what Stroud District has to offer. We were starting from scratch when it came to a brand proposition so we knew we had to listen to the people of Stroud.
We organised focus groups with partners at Perconsulting to gather information, insights and the ambitions of Stroud District. Building on this, we developed case studies with the help of key individuals playing a part in the current success of the district – we really wanted to put names and faces behind Stroud District’s drive and success.
Stroud District has an energy unlike any other place. It’s green and dynamic, climate conscious and motivated, creative and collaborative, rural and urban, and unapologetically ambitious.
This research allowed us to create the new brand proposition and visual identity for Stroud District, alongside our creative partner Toco Creative, as well as create the new website with the help of Toco Digital. The digital prospectus was the final piece of the project – a document where the key information, visual identity and key imagery could be housed together in a way investors in the district could easily digest.
We did what we always aim to do here at One Voice – surpass our client’s expectations! We created a brand proposition and visual identity for Stroud District that represents all they have to offer, and the growth they are making, outside of the council’s branding. This included a logo, strapline and colour palette reflective of the district’s landscape and offering.
The website and digital prospectus were created with punchy and creative copy to engage and inform the users to deliver the strong message that Stroud District is a place to invest, live, and thrive in. We really loved writing it.
“One Voice Media have been a joy to work in producing a prospectus for Stroud District. They grasped a complex and challenging brief with both hands and brought huge energy, creativity and flair to the process, always engaging positively with the Council and key stakeholders along the way. We are very pleased with the final product, which will add value for many years to come and put our relationship with our business community on a strong footing.” – Brendan Cleere, Stroud District Council.
