Inclusivity and workforce
- We are female founded and led – all our directors are women
- We have exceptional levels of staff retention. Almost half of the team has been with the business for more than 10 years. Our three longest serving team members have been with the business for 25 years, 16 years and 14 years
- Two of our directors job share and have done successfully for 13 years – we believe this is one of the longest job-share partnerships in the industry
- We are passionate about skills and career growth for our team and offer a blend of on-the-job and formal external training
- We have flexible working policies – enabling our team to manage caring responsibilities, pursue personal goals such as higher education and ensure work/life balance.
Our impact on the local economy
- We have been a part of the Exeter business community for 35 years – directly supporting the local economy and supporting our local clients to contribute further
- We are locally-owned
- We work with local suppliers and independent businesses wherever possible, supporting the South West economy
- We are committed to hiring locally to offer PR and marketing careers in Devon that traditionally applicants may have had to move to a large city to find
Our impact on our clients
- We have exceptional levels of client retention. Our three longest standing clients have been with us for 35 years, 20 years and 18 years. Our team is proud of this and see it as the ultimate endorsement of the quality of our work
- We have a city centre office and welcome our clients dropping in any time. It also means someone is always there ready to support in person when needed
Our environmental impact
- We are committed to reducing our carbon impact by holding meetings online where possible, or when in person, taking public transport
- For team members with an unavoidable drive to the office, we offer fully flexible work from home opportunities to reduce driving and improve wellbeing
Community Engagement
- We regularly engage in pro bono work for local nonprofits – from informal advice to practical delivery of campaigns
- Our team are passionate about supporting our local community and collectively volunteer around 530 hours per year – from Trustee roles to tree planting
- Our team are passionate advocates for causes they believe in. Recent work includes highlighting the need for flexible working for carers. and team members have taken part in national podcasts, interviews and high-level meetings to share their lived experience
- For the past 7 years we have engaged with the University of Exeter, supporting pathways to careers through knowledge sharing and paid internships
