Sweet Success: Cake International draws record visitor numbers
21 November 2011
ICHF Events held their highly successful Cake International show in November which saw thousands of cake decorating and sugarcraft fans flock to the Birmingham NEC for a record breaking weekend!
Visitor numbers were up by 32% on the previous record year in 2010, with cake fans flying in from across the globe including Peru, America, Portugal, Korea and France to see cutting-edge products and techniques, compete in competitions and attend demos. With more than 100 exhibitors over three days, the show was the biggest it has ever been.
Cake International ran alongside Crafts for Christmas, Hobbycrafts & Art Materials Live on the same weekend which saw nearly 40,000 people attend the shows. With three shows in one craft fans were able to get all of their latest supplies, take part in free demonstrations and get top tips and advice from the experts.
Following the success of this show, ICHF have announced an additional Cake International show will take place at the ExCeL, London from the 27-29 April 2012. It is hoped that this show, which will focus on Cake Decorating and Baking, will follow the same recipe for success as the 2011 show! Please visit www.ichf.co.uk for more information.
